Get Involved
There are several ways to support our work. You can share lived military service experience, volunteer your time, partner with us, or make a donation to help reach more veterans and strengthen advocacy for clearer, fairer systems. Choose the option that fits how you want to contribute.
Share Your Story
Veteran and family experiences help us understand where systems are confusing, delayed, unfair, or difficult to access. Sharing your story is optional. You choose what you share. VANCA will not publish identifying personal information without clear consent.
Stories may help us identify themes for advocacy and system improvement, but sharing your story is never required to receive support.
Volunteer
Volunteers help us build resources, review information, support outreach, strengthen referral pathways, and keep online support clear and reliable. Volunteer roles are structured, privacy-aware, trauma-informed and matched to training and role boundaries.
Partner
VANCA works with veteran-serving organizations, community groups, professional partners, and referral networks to help veterans find the right support sooner. Partnership is for organizations and groups that want to collaborate, refer, share resources, or support system improvement.
Donate
Every contribution helps VANCA reach and support more veterans and families. Donations help build plain-language resources, online tools, referral pathways, volunteer training, and advocacy for better systems.
Your support helps strengthen our voice for system improvement while keeping veterans and families at the centre of the work.
Donation options are being developed while VANCA works toward charitable status. To discuss future funding support, please send an online inquiry.
Board Member Opportunities
VANCA is building a solid, skilled, veteran-led board. Board members provide governance, oversight, strategy, and accountability. VANCA especially values lived experience, privacy awareness, financial discipline, digital systems knowledge, and commitment to respectful support for veterans and families.
Volunteers and board members support VANCA's navigation, education, advocacy, referral, governance, and resource-building work. They do not provide legal, medical, financial, clinical, emergency, or crisis services on VANCA's behalf.
