Why This Matters

Strong evidence is the foundation of a successful claim. Without it, even eligible conditions can be denied.

Who This Applies To

Veterans with approved VAC disability conditions, and their family members in certain circumstances.

Common Misconception

Many veterans think they need to pay for therapy themselves or that VAC only covers physical conditions. VAC covers mental health treatment, including PTSD therapy, for approved conditions.
